HI5001 is a premium quality 1.00 pH calibration buffer solution manufactured in accordance with ISO 3696/BS3978 using high purity salts, deionized water, certified weight check balance and Class A glassware in a temperature controlled environment monitored with a certified thermometer. Reported values are accurate to ± 0.01 pH @ 25°C and traceable to NIST Standard Reference Material (SRM).

Using |
- Pour enough calibration solution into a clean plastic cup so that the electrode, sensor and pH junction are completely immersed in the standard solution. - Check accuracy: To put the device in measuring mode, immerse the electrode in the solution, the device will read out the measurement result in value 1.00 ± 0.01pH is normal. If the value is outside this range, treat the electrode with oxidizing or reducing solution, or the electrode may be damaged, contact HANNA technical support 028.39260.457 for support. - Calibrate the electrode according to the electrode or meter's instruction manual. |

Methods of preservation |
- After use, cover and store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight - Do not dilute or add any chemicals to the solution. - Always use fresh solution for each calibration - ABSOLUTELY do not pour used solution back into the bottle. |
